June 19, 2008 7vs7: Spokane Style

Scribed by Remi. 14 comments. Awesome.

It seemed like a good idea our friends over at Urban Honking had. Seven days of eating only seven ingredients; make a challenge out of it. So we decided to do the same thing here in ye olde 509. How difficult could it be?

Judging by the drop-off rate over in Portland, we might have bitten off more than we can chew. Yet that is what makes it a challenge, isn’t it?

Our rules are nigh on identical to those the Urban Honking guys are following; each ingredient has to be solely and purely singular, otherwise it counts as multiple ingredients. (Certain limited exceptions apply.) A carrot, for example, would be one ingredient. A pop-tart would be… I don’t know, more than seven probably.

Stay tuned to this web site for information about the rules, contestants, and more in the coming days. The actual game kicks off June 30th.

Oh, and the current list of participants…

DO IT

FOR THE WIN

Oh we’re doing it all over their faces!

I’m going out on a limb right now: My money is on Stefan!

I completely agree. He will cruise straight through the first ten minutes at least.

My money is on whoever’s smart enough to put “pork” down as their No. 1 ingredient.

I predict Stefan’s list will read something like, “Pork, beef, chicken… That’s all I need.”

So how does one jump on the bandwagon? =)
